Key objectives of International Men’s Day are close to our heart at Pathways to Care so we would like to highlight them here:
To focus on men’s health and wellbeing; social, emotional, physical and spiritual.
To highlight discrimination against men; in areas of social services, social attitudes and expectations, and law.
To create a safer, better world; where people can be safe and grow to reach their full potential.
On November 19 International Men’s Day celebrates the positive value men bring to the world, their families and communities. We want to join them in highlighting positive role models and raising awareness of men’s well-being.
Here are some past blogs we have written celebrating Pathway to Care’s male participants, their achievements and their contributions to the community:
-Nathan speaks up for Men's Health
-Marcus and Caden’s healthy community spirit
-Michael volunteers at Montclair Aged Home
If you are a Pathways to Care participant and have a story you would like to share please don’t hesitate to contact us. We would love to celebrate you too.
