September is Save the Koalas month. And who better to introduce you to their plight by our very own Koala Pearl?
We adopted Pearl last summer when the Bushfires devastated the Koala’s regional habitat and threatened their very existence.
No one can forget the images of caring souls rescuing Koala’s from charcoal tree stumps, with their bewildered faces and fur still scorching.
We are happy to report Pearl is doing very well at Ballarat Wildlife Park. Along with the funds from our bake sale, we were also able to purchase some Eucalyptus trees for Pearl and her friends to dine on, doze and daydream in.
