NDIS Plan Management services help with the financial administration of an NDIS plan, paying someone's NDIS provider bills, keeping a record of invoices, assisting with funding questions and more.
NDIS Support Coordination assists a participant in building their skills to understand, implement and use their NDIS plan. A support coordinator helps with planning and engagement of disability support providers. An NDIS Plan Manager does not assist with the setting up of supports like a NDIS Support Coordinator does.
Anyone can have NDIS Plan Management included in their plan and there is no cost involved. You don’t need to wait for a plan review meeting if you want to switch to NDIS Plan Management.
You can request this change at any time by simply contacting your Local Area Coordinator (LAC) or Early Childhood Early Intervention (ECEI) or contact the NDIS on 1800 800 110 and make a request for your funding management to be changed to NDIS Plan Management.
